Bio:

Aaron S. Holbritter has been with the Pride Center of the Capital Region since August of 2008, where he began as Administrative Coordinator. Aaron’s diverse background in office administration, sales, the arts and education has made him uniquely qualified for this position. Committed to the mission of the Pride Center, Aaron is proud and grateful to have the opportunity to serve the LGBTQA community, and hopes that through his work he can honor the history of the organization. From everyday office duties to planning major events and producing video presentations, Aaron is constantly and pleasantly surprised at the many forms his job takes.

Apart from his job with the Center, Aaron is an award winning actor, director and producer. He has performed in hundreds of productions across Upstate New York and beyond. The Times Union called him a “leading light of the local stage” and The Daily Gazette called the production of Enchanted April he directed for Schenectady Civic Theater a “Top Ten play of 2006″ and his recent directorial effort Proof for Albany Civic Theater was a critical and box office smash. Always looking for new challenges, Aaron is a founding member of the Push Theater Collective, a group of like-minded theater professionals looking to explore the theater landscape through readings, discussions and performances of lesser known, under-produced or “controversial” works. Born and raised on a family-owned dairy farm in rural Rensselaer County, he is a life-long resident of the Capital District and currently resides in Cohoes.
