Be a part of the Celebration!
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Capital Pride 2012 Parade and Festival in Washington Park in Albany! This year’s Pride celebration will be bigger than ever, and with over 15,000 people participating last year, this year will be the largest ever! Deadline to register as a food or fectival vendor, or to march in thew parade, is Friday, May 11.
Parade Route
The parade steps off at noon in Washington Park, at the intersection of Sprague and State Streets. From there we will march down State Street, over Lark Street, up Madison Avenue and back into the park at the intersection of Madison and New Scotland Avenues.
The fesitval will begin immediately following the parade so plan to stay with us for the entire afternoon. There will be fabulous entertainment on the festival stage and activities for the entire family!
Schedule
Capital Pride week kicks off Thursday, May 31st with our annual Kick-Off BBQ, with many events throughout the 11 days of Pride, culminating with the Parade and Festival. The Capital Pride Parade steps off from Washington Park at 12p Noon on Sunday June 10. The Capital Pride Festival opens by 11:30AM. Booths must be torn down and off the festival grounds no later than 6:00 PM.

At each of the Capital Pride events, we raise funds by raffling off gift certificate and items to supporters, it’s a great opportunity for your business to be highlighted for your support. If you would like to donate a gift certificate or an item to Pride, please complete the attached form and submit to the Pride Center today!
