There are few cult classics with a more fabulous following than that of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Whether you’ve been to a hundred showings since the 1970’s or this is your first viewing, stop by the Pride Center at 6:30pm on Saturday, October 20th for a special audience participation viewing of the film, hosted by our favorite Transylvanian, Café Staffer Grace B!
We’ll supply all the props you need, just bring yourself and a friend. Costumes are welcome but not necessary. RHPS is best enjoyed interactively so be prepared to yell at the screen, throw toast and have a marvelous time. Rocky Horror combines music, camp, science fiction and theatricality in a stage show and film loved by audiences around the world. In 2005, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”
Rocky Horror Picture Show is Rated R for strong language, sexual content and some violence. Viewer discretion is advised. This event is free. See you TOMORROW at 6:30pm in the Rainbow Café at 332 Hudson Avenue in Albany!
