Led by our very special Grand Marshal for 2015, Calpernia Addams, the Capital PRIDE Parade steps off at noon in Washington Park, at the intersection of Robin and State Streets. From there we will march down State Street, over Lark Street, up Madison Avenue and back into the park at the intersection of Madison and New Scotland Avenues.
The Capital PRIDE Festival will begin immediately following the parade so plan to stay with us for the entire afternoon. There will be fabulous entertainment on the festival stage and activities for the entire family!
Don’t miss one of the biggest celebrations in the Capital Region! Join tens of thousands from around the region and beyond as we show off our pride in Albany’s Washington Park. In 2014 we celebrated with 30,000 attendees. It was our biggest festival ever! With tons of great vendors, all types of food and drink, and fun-filled family zone, fire eaters, spinners, face painters, mini-golf, as well as entertainment by Andy Bell of Erasure, Katy Tiz, The Accents and Calpernia Addams, the 2015 Capital PRIDE Festival will be a great family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQ community and our allies! There’s always lots to do and see at the Largest PRIDE in upstate New York!
