Facility Use & Rental

The Pride Center of the Capital Region welcomes the opportunity to provide meeting space for outside groups and organizations. Our rooms are perfect for a small gathering, available to groups not exceeding 30 people. While our first commitment is to our own programs and services, any additional space remaining is available for rent. We already have a number of groups signed up to use space on a monthly, weekly and even more frequent basis. To check on the availability of space, please contact the Pride Center at 462-6138. Once availability is identified, we ask that you complete the building use rental form to confirm your reservation.

Rates

Our rates were created with the intention of maintaining affordability, allowing access to as many people as possible. Please see the room rates listed on the building use request form for a complete list of rates. All rates are calculated as a minimum 3-hour rental with discounts for nonprofit organizations.

Amenities

All rooms come equipped with tables, chairs and newsprint with easels. The rooms do not come set up, so indicate a preference prior to your event. Additional audio, visual and technical equipment can be provided for a flat fee based on room location and availability.

Room Rental Procedure

1. Complete the building use request form (including additional equipment and/or services requested) and email to info@capitalpridecenter.org , fax to 518-462-2101 or mail to Pride Center 332 Hudson Avenue Albany NY 12210.
2. We will email or fax confirmation for your event or notify you if space is unavailable. Confirmation will include room(s), dates, times, equipment, services, and amount of deposit required.

3. An invoice will be mailed or emailed to you within five business days following your event. The invoice will list all charges, show the deposit paid and any balance due.

Room Rental Times

There is a 3-hour minimum time requirement for room rentals. After the minimum time requirement, rooms are available in one-hour blocks. Please remember your setup, cleaning and breakdown must be done within the contracted rental time. Depending upon the size and complexity of your meeting or event, please allow sufficient time for completion of the above tasks.

Space at the Pride Center is available for rent during the following days and times:

Monday- Friday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am to 5 pm
