In many ways, 2018 was a rebuilding effort for our organization, and we would not have been able to accomplish this without the hard work of our staff and volunteers.
Capital Pride has grown to become one of the staple destination events in the Capital District and one of the largest Parades and Festivals in the tri-state area. With an average attendance of 30,000 people with over 10 days of events, Capital Pride has something for everyone.
Did you know that the Pride Center of the Capital Region offers those in the LGBTQ community as well as family and friends over 20 programs, counseling services, and social events?
Youth in Power! Summer Leadership Camp 2018 was a big success. About 30 youth ages 12-18 participated in several workshops, ranging from Yoga and Meditation to First Aid Fire Safety and STI awareness and prevention.
