In addition to delivering professional training, the Pride Center of the Capital Region offers technical assistance for businesses, organizations, schools, and government agencies. Our comprehensive Consultation Services provide professional assistance designed to improve employee retention, draw more business,  increase referrals, and create a higher quality of services for LGBTQ individuals. Each plan is customized to best meet the needs of the client.

Material Review and Development Assistance

For small-scale and single-document assistance, our staff provide edits on existing materials or can work with the client to develop new materials, such as:

  • Intake forms
  • Demographics collection
  • Non-discrimination policies
  • Promotional materials
  • Activities and lesson plans

Project Assessment and Development Assistance

For larger projects, we offer an assessment of existing programs, large documents, and policies. Then we work with the client to develop inclusive and affirming services. Projects may include:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Facility housing policies
  • Volunteer training and new staff orientation
  • Curriculum development
  • Inclusion initiatives
  • Outreach campaigns

Agency Evaluation and Implementation Assistance

For system-wide enhancements, experienced Pride Center staff conduct an evaluation of an agency’s multiple components, such as policies, documents, physical environment, and promotional materials. We then work collaboratively with the agency to develop and implement a plan for addressing areas for improvement.

Technical Assistance Fees
