The David, Gladys, & Candace Groudine Scholarship (two $2,500 scholarships)

Kat is currently a junior pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. She holds leadership positions as a mentor and teaching assistant in the physics department and is active in a variety of extracurricular activities including Women’s Mentoring Program, Community Relations Committee, and Flying Club. Kat frequently volunteers at the Pride Center of the Capital Region mentoring youth and facilitating groups. Kat will be pursuing an internship in the summer of 2019 as a Boeing EAHI Intern.
Jai Eurich volunteers with the Pride Center Youth programs as both a participant as well as a group Facilitator. Jai has made it their mission to make the world a safer space for their peers in the LGBTQ community.
Jai was the Secretary of that GSA for 2 years while attending Columbia High School in East Greenbush and received the LGBTQ community activist award for their dedication and efforts. Not only is Jai a hard-working volunteer but also works to inspire others to accept and love who they are and encourages everyone to live their genuine lives, no matter what. Jai will be attending HVCC in the fall of 2019.
The Pride Center Scholarship (one $500 scholarship)
This scholarship is intended to assist a community partner who, as an adult, has made the decision to continue their education to further advance their abilities to become an even stronger LGBTQ community advocate.Ashley Radliff
Ashley Radliff works in the field of Addiction and Recovery. She is currently employed by The Next Step. Inc. She plans on attending HVCC where she will complete her CASAC. Ashley’s hope is to pay it forward by helping women on their journey of recovery.
